Seems to work just as well as the OEM filter. However, I haven't driven more than 6,000 miles as that is my normal threshold for an oil change.

The filter I received was not as pictured. The filter I received did not have solid plugs. It was in the same packaging as the one I had previously bought as shown in the photo (it fitted my RAV4 perfectly, by the way). Instead, it was a frameless filter that deformed when installed. I returned for a refund. Buyers be careful, you may not receive what is pictured. I would look elsewhere.

The filter is made the same as Toyota Factory Filters. Works well and installing the actual filter is very easy (Toyota body design leaves something to be desired and they should go back to a regular screw-in filter) but this filter worked well and was in good condition when replaced. after 5000 km. I would highly recommend these filters to all Toyota owners.

I have used various brands of oil filters of this size on 3 Toyotas for several years with no problems until I tried this one. My RAV4 with a plastic filter canister left an oil slick in the driveway. After draining and experimenting with the new oil a few times, I found that the ECOGARD canister's O-ring was too tight. I reinstalled the old Mobil filter gasket and the leak has stopped completely.
