Ecolink ZigBee Wireless Detection Sensor Review

The first one stopped working after about a month - it started reporting to the hub after a reset, but stopped within an hour after that. Replacing batteries did not help, the second did not work from day one, there is no support - the seller does not answer and I had to do AZ to get a replacement. I didn't repeat it again after the second was DOA.

It connected immediately to our Samsung Smartthings Hub and responded quickly to the test. But please, the product description is wrong. It says "Up to 4 years of battery life with replaceable CR123A lithium battery." It has two small AAAA (four As) alkaline batteries that are very hard to find and typically don't last very long. I'm giving two stars because it was a pivotal moment for me.

Works exactly as described. I bought three wireless Ecolink Zeebe flood detectors to place under the sink and behind the toilet. About a month after installation, I received a notification on my phone that I had a bathroom leak. It turned out that the shut-off valve began to leak through the fitting. Thanks to Zeebe Wireless' flood sensor, I was able to solve the problem without potentially costly problems. Good product.

I bought this sensor to mount under my washing machine as Smartthings have stopped selling their version of the water sensor. It's a lot smaller than I expected (I didn't check the dimensions) but it fits under my washing machine easily. It took less than a minute to set up the Smartthings app and test it with a plate of water - it sent an instant notification to my phone.
