I will ONLY buy these!

I didn't expect these compost bags to actually be any different, although I hoped they would. I will only buy these for several reasons. They are definitely thicker, you can't even see through them. They open easily and stay in place. I've had to double down on other brands but definitely not this one. And they are easy to take off the roll as they are not fragile. The price is great.

The bags are very thin and tear easily.

I like the company's concept. We should all be good stewards of the world and I think this company is an example of that. However, the bags are very fragile. I tore one while taking them out of the box and had to fold them in half or they tear easily. They can work if you're just composting, but use them for general junk. While I believe in the company, I will most likely look for a more trusted brand.

Suitable for lining a small compost bin

I have a small square compost bin and these bags fit perfectly. I usually take out the compost a few times a week and the bag is pretty full of plant debris, coffee grounds and the like. The compost bag is strong enough to survive from the downstairs kitchen to the curbside compost bin; I also stretch it lightly around the compost bin and I think I only had one tear (which is saying something as I've been using these bags for quite some time now). I used to toss my compost in a paper grocery…
