Edelbrock 1225 Pro Flo Air Cleaner Review

The description clearly says aluminum manufacture but it is not. Made from plain metal but looks nice although I have to say the main reason I bought it is the 'Aluminium' construction.

Good filter, I bought a group A performance filter, but in some places this filter is rubbish, there is no filter at all, so I returned the group A filter and bought this one, it didn't disappoint but it should come with a gasket and screw (not included). To assemble, simply roll everything up with the nut and then slide it over the filter housing like tucking a shirt around your pants, then tighten the nut and you're done!

Yes, tight fit. Yes, it doesn't just fit because it's a well-made filter. You must first install the bottom end of the filter, then the filter, and then the top end. Hold the bottom of the filter with your right hand while pressing the top of the filter holder with your left hand. Circle it until the filter is snug. Tighten it. Everything is easy. I don't want my filter to be loose. The filter is good and worth the money. Why? Because it's reusable.
