I honestly thought the other reviews exaggerated when they said these dominoes don't fit back into the container they come in but they actually don't fit by a feat of physics. The dominoes themselves are great, but for convenience, they need to be stored in a different storage container after first opening.

Kindergarten through second grade will enjoy these word tiles. We sort them by color, by the first letter, by part of speech and, of course, combine them into words. The container was shipped with the purchased liquid which spilled and the jar of phonic dominoes was also opened so cleaned first. But a great and fun educational tool.

These tiles are hollow but strong. I love the wide variety of blends and digraphs! Beautiful color tiles. There are also a variety of word endings. The only reason this product got 4 stars instead of 5 is that not all parts fit in the bucket. Now I have to buy another bucket with a lid, which is a chore and will cost me more.

Why? Why aren't they in a big container? When they arrived they were scattered all over the box. When I tried to put them back in the container they didn't fit. Something designed for kids can't require precise puzzle placement to solve, that's ridiculous. Also, my son will be able to make a lot of words out of it, so that's good.

The glass we received had no handle. As I was giving this as a birthday gift it felt a bit used/damaged when it should have been 'new' and it was a bit awkward. Blocks are ok. It takes a little longer to form words than you think. Str-op is that a word? Tr-onk is that a word? Fewer blocks with easier matches will probably be a little less annoying for kids. 3.6 X-ray. Not great, not terrible.

First everyone complained about the inability to put your knuckles back into the case, it's really easy if you just shake it all the time while putting it back. there and they fit easily. As for the game itself, my reluctant readers groan every time I pull it out, but I think it has value nonetheless. We're not actually playing a game, we just drop all the tiles and I make them work together to connect them all to form words.
