Works as it should in painting supplies and tools

Simple and effective. The tray holds dirt and you can easily scrape off your tools or excess dirt. Cleaning is quick if the dirt isn't baked in or if you leave it on for too long. I think the pages seem thin; Maybe a "pro" will find a more durable one for everyday use, for example. I've found this to work, just look for casual use.

Steel Dirt Pan Review

I like the fact that the mud pan is lightweight. I probably should have read the product description better to know that this is galvanized steel and NOT stainless steel. Stainless steel is much easier to clean. I also have to assume that galvanized steel will rust at the welds over time. The pan can also be a little deeper. I probably won't buy again!

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out

Terrible build quality

Absolutely rubbish. Both pans I ordered broke within a week. The first one broke off a corner the first time it was used. Second, all 4 corners broke within 2 weeks. I'm not picky about my tools either. "Welds" junk. They also don't hold water, even when they're new. Spend the extra $5 and get one that actually boils and lasts over a week and holds water when you mix a quick solidification in your pan.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great for the homeowner

I am a homeowner and am working on adding storage space under a wing of the house. I guess mere mortals can't do a good drywall job and I'd hire a professional for anything that's really important to me, but I've decided to do it myself in a closet. This dirt pan was great as it holds a crowd that I can reasonably handle and the sharp top edge makes it easy to keep the knives clean. It is easy to clean after each use and is as good as new the next day.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Not so bad, there is room to grow.

Haven't used it yet but first impressions are that it seems durable and can be effective as a mud pan. GALVANIZED, not stainless steel. The sticker on the mud pan didn't want to come off easily, but almost all mud pans or knives have stickers. Perhaps in the future it will be possible to make cardboard packaging instead of stickers. If you use it at work or use it frequently, look for a stainless steel option as it doesn't rust easily. But it would be nice if you could use it several times aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Exactly what I needed for my project!

Okay, that might sound crazy, but these days. I bought it to use as a UV lamp holder and reflector. I bought a UV lamp for an aquarium that kills algae and other organisms when the water flows through the light. . It emits UV radiation. Watch and read about it. Anyway, I removed the electronics from the system, including the UV lamp, and put them in this mud pan. But first I lined the pallet with self-adhesive plastic mirror tiles. Then I made a wooden handle and attached it to the back of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ease of Installation
Cons
  • Quality
