Damaged Car Wiring - Did not Protect against a Short

Bought as replacements for standard fuses in our car. Now a wire harness is damaged because the breaker did not open the circuit when a wire shorted in the auto transmission solenoid. The correct rating breaker was installed. Lesson learned. Will not use a reset breaker in place of a fuse.

Circuit breakers on my review.

Came really fast and they are a must have for diagnosing shorts and a circuit better than going through Fuses while trying to locate

Use at own risk, unknown quality.

I bought a 3 pack and only used 1 so far. I had a car popping fuses intermittently and put this relay in for diagnostic purposes. The relay stuck/ melted closed and burnt wires. I lost a whole day pulling dash and replacing and repairing wiring. Might be goodproduct but first impression not so good.

  • The product is comparatively expensive

Fuse replacement: my feedback

Used to replace the fan fuse in a UTV that always blows when the fan hits water. Never have to worry about a blown fuse and overheating again. This trips and resets itself.

Pros
  • But I still don't understand the part about auto reset.
Cons
  • It may not be compatible with all kinds of electrical systems

Saved the day on a/c compressor issue

2002 Pontiac a/c compressor kept blowing fuses minutes after installing new.Wasn't looking forward to replacing pump with a $700 tag to get it done.Wasn't sure if this was a solution, so happy it did the trick.

  • Works perfect in my 18 wheeler after the dome light went out.

  • It is only available in one size, which may not suit all requirements
