Feels sturdy and I used to split several pills that I only take half of hoping to keep my prescription costs down on much needed medication. It's a little awkward to use at first but got the hang of it quickly. It does small and large pills which is nice and will help me extend my prescriptions and reduce my cost of these medications. I would recommend.

I've gone through 5 pill splitters from various pharmacies and grocery stores and all have been a waste of my money. This pill splitter is accurate with a sharp blade. Perfect for splitting my cat's medication in half. Very happy with my purchase. This does not have a rubber base to hold the pill, definitely check out the video reviews where people show holding the cutter in air at an angle to keep pill in place. That was super helpful.
