Great little tool! good for me

This is a great little tool for pulling nails out. I use it together with my nail remover gun to pull nails out of pallets that I disassemble. It’s been a game changer for sure. It’s so much easier to use than the claws on a hammer cause it gets better leverage and angles. I also love that even if a nail head breaks off, these will still grab the nail and pull it out. They are a good size, about a foot long, but I wish they opened a little wider so I could grip onto some of the bigger nails…

Pros
  • I used this to pull nails and staples from pallets. It worked well.
Cons
  • May not be a necessary tool for DIY or home improvement enthusiasts

Way better than anything I've used before

This tool has made short work of pulling nails from salvaged wood. So far it has worked on spiral nails, finish nails, framing nails, brads and staples. If you have 1/16th of an inch of nail head or broken nail exposed, there's a good chance this thing can grip it enough to rock it out without damaging the wood. It might not work as effectively on extremely large or severely rusted nails, but so far it has been effective on almost everything that I've used it for

Pros
  • If you are doing demolition, remodeling, rebuilding, you need this tool!
Cons
  • May be too specific of a tool, leading to limited use

Remarkably useful tool

I do a lot of home repair and furniture building and I've never found a nail puller that works this well. This is truly a remarkable product. I've used all manner of nail pulling devices over the last few decades and nothing rivals these pliers.Pro:Pulls 18 gauge trim nails from standard 3/4 inch red oak with ease. I've had issues with 5/4 oak (1 inch thick) - more on that below. If you can get a grip on the nail with the jaws, these pliers will pull the nail 98% of the time.Far better than…

Pros
  • The pliers are versatile and can be used for a wide range of nail sizes, making them a versatile addition to any toolbox
Cons
  • Possible splintering or damage to the wood surrounding the nail during removal

I recycle pallets quite a bit. I have a deconstruction bar, wonder bars, hammers, air punch, sawzall, etc. I am pretty good at knocking apart a pallet quickly then pulling nails out. I don't care to cut them off and leave parts in the wood or cut the ends that are nailed together. Wastes too much good, usable length of the boards. However, some pallets have staples, or twisted nails that hold tightly and the heads will break off long before I can get the nail to pull out. Unfortunately, this…

Pros
  • The pliers are easy to use and require minimal setup, making them ideal for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts
Cons
  • Possible dullness or damage to the pliers over time

The Real Deal: my feedback

Saw this used on a Youtube video used by a woodworker who makes things from pallet wood. Have now used it on pallet nails and deck nails and this thing is a beast! Great leverage for its size.

Pros
  • The pliers are made of high quality, durable materials that ensure their longevity and effectiveness over time
Cons
  • Possible damage to the pliers from misuse, reducing the lifespan of the tool

Good design good for me

A simple but effective tool to remove nails and staples. I build a lot of wood shop projects of reclaimed lumber and free furniture. The tool has good grip and leverage. Worsk much better on exposed nails instead of cats paws and other small crowbars.

Pros
  • I bought this to break down pallets. It works good. Gives you nice leverage.
Cons
  • Red and black color scheme may not match all tool sets and workspaces

Worth the cost! for my opinion

I was concerned this was a gimmick product but it WORKS! I tried this on large 16 nails and pushing back to remove the nail closes the clamp even tighter so they stay in well. I would still rather use a large crowbar for large nails. However, for any nails smaller it is perfect! I had a lot of old wood that had some partially rusted nails and the heads broke off on all of them with my flat bar. I tried these nail pullers and got all the nails out. That extra pressure on the teeth works…

Pros
  • Worked perfect pulled nails out of pallets and staples out of pallets. Great product!
Cons
  • May require a lot of pressure to extract nails, leading to user fatigue

These pliers are a beast

Very well made, they are constructed of heavy metal and allow you to put forth the effort needed to remove the most stubborn nails.

Pros
  • ‎1
Cons
  • May not be a sought after tool for resale, leading to a lower value

The Best Nail Puller of this Type

-I used it to pull out "misplaced" brads and .023" pins and it works really good-Before i tried pulling them out with "end nippers" and most of the time I would just cut the nail before it would come out-I also tried every other type of plier and some worked ok and some didn't-This one works great on the small nails but I haven't tried it on the bigger nails yet but I think it will work just fine

Pros
  • Unlimited flexibility allows user to easily extract nails regardless of size or if head of nail is damaged or removed
Cons
  • Possible crushing or marring of nail head during extraction

Solid tool with solid results

Great tool. Used it to pull 100 3.5" deck board nails. It was still a beefy job, but the tool could handle it. Tool is solid and price is fair if you need it for the job.I pulled off the deck boards with a pry bar, leaving the nails embedded in the joists with 3/4" exposed. A pry bar couldn't consistently grip the small head of the nails, but this tool gripped and pulled the nails as expected. Only complaint would be the smaller amount of leverage compared to the 36" pry bar, but…

Pros
  • The tool's compact size allows for easy storage in a tool belt or drawer, making it readily accessible for quick, on-the-go use
Cons
  • May not be as precise as other tools designed for nail removal

Works amazingly well

I bought this tool specifically for pulling nails from pallets. If you've ever tried to remove those spiral nails from a pallet, you know how troublesome the process can be. My previous methods involved either a large crowbar of a pair of locking pliers and a small steel plate. The crowbar would usually rip the heads off the nails, and the locking pliers were time consuming to use. After opening the package, I was a bit skeptical about the puller since the jaws didn't appear as aggressive…

Pros
  • ‎Rubber
Cons
  • May not be useful for those who do not have a steady hand

It was exactly what I needed. I had to remove literally thousands of 1 1/4" staples from my kitchen floor after pulling up the vinyl and luan. They were too long to just hammer over into the sub floor. I tried several tools and eventually settled on the old reliable Vice Grip. Even at that, it was still slow and actually became painful. I ordered this tool on a Friday afternoon and it arrived on Sunday. The difference was night and day. I was surprised to learn that one of the best features…

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • May require extra maintenance or cleaning to maintain effectiveness
