Don't waste your money!

Total POS. Broke first use. Made very poorly. Attempted to remove cam seal and the remover arm broke at the bend. Very low pressure/force was being applied. Took a pick to the seal and it cam right out, so it wasn't even in there very tight. Additionally, a bunch of the plates and adapters don't fit into each other correctly, as they were poorly machined. I didn't have very high expectations, but I figured I'd get at least a couple uses from it. Don't waste your money.

NOT GOOD FOR REMOVAL

Overall the set looks pretty nice and and does have a large number of seal driver "rings for new seal install. That is a plus and no complaints there. The problem are the "hooks" for the seal extractor tool. The hooks are very flimsy and are NOT heat treated in any fashion. I attempted to use the extractor to remove the front crank seal from an Isuzu 2.2 4-cylinder engine I am servicing. I fit the hooks into the seal "at 9 & 3" and that was super easy. I then worked the extractor bar into place

Didn't come with instructions

There wasn't any documentation inside to describe the different sizes. They're labeled with a letter but no map. Had to print out a picture from the description.

Pretty decent kit in my review

Mainly got this for the seal installers, all the pieces look well made. They can interlock and be stacked on top of each other. The puller arms look pretty cheap, but it can be switched out with bolts and turned into a crank pulley puller.

Not too great on my review.

The seal puller in this kit is of a soft metal, it bent and distorted out of shape during the first use. It did not remove the seal.Many of the blue aluminum seal presses were out of round and, either did not fit on the steel plates, or got stuck and had to be forcefully removed.The job I bought these for couldn't wait for me to return this sub-par product and wait for a replacement. So, I had to make this work by sanding the blue pieces to fit.Thank goodness I had ordered another seal puller…

Not a great buy for me

Product came used and was not complete. I believe I received a returned item. I had to return it as it was useless without the missing components

  • Its a great set, good selection of sizes, but didn't have the right size for a big block Chevy motor.

  • Doesn't work, too weak to pulll out seal and just bends vs pulling out seal
