This little pump gets the job done. this is very useful for the paludarium. A small hose can be attached to the outlet to create a fountain that propels water. The filter should be changed regularly as it catches solid waste with a simple sponge.

This skimmer is too small to be used in anything but a 1 liter aquarium. It moves some water, but the tiny sponge filter needs constant cleaning. It works well, but understand that it's tiny and can't handle any biological load.

When I first set this up it didn't work at all. He just started the engine, but the propeller didn't move at all. So I glued a small part of the propeller to the magnetic cylinder that is just behind the propeller. Once that was dry I put the unit back together and now it actually works perfectly and does what it's supposed to.

When I received this filter it didn't work because the magnet and wheel weren't attached, but I attached it with silicone! It works great, cleans the water the only thing is because it's so small you have to clean the sponge fairly regularly but the piece comes off so easily it's not that big of a problem. I made a cute little waterfall for my frog padularium! Overall this is a great product for the price, very quiet and doesn't disturb the water much! 👍🐸

This filter is great for the water in my turtle tank. It's very quiet and doesn't take up much space; it's easy to hide behind a small hanging plant in the corner. It's not designed for large volumes of water, but my water system is about 10 inches deep and 4 inches and 3 inches deep and the filter keeps it clean with no problem.
