. This Eikon Mini could not be installed on (3) separate Windows 10 Pro computers at the same time. It was detected by Windows, but when you start a test scan of Windows programs, it ends up failing every time. I would have returned if my 30 day window hadn't already expired. For those looking at other scanners, both of the above are well installed, but in terms of performance, the PQI really excels in its speed and number of scans on the first try. Working. The one I received was for Mac (ordered for PC but should work anyway) but the software for it listed on the back is no longer available. This reduces its use to ONLY fingerprint login. If you've been looking at this product and thought you could use it to log into your favorite websites with a swipe of your finger instead of having to remember all those passwords, you'll be disappointed. couldn't find anything in third party software to add this functionality. The design is weird too.
