Great price and product, it would be ideal if the manufacturers included wooden tabs to cover the screw holes for a neat finish. I would pay an extra dollar or two to get these items.

Yes, the rubber tree is a real tree. Possibly rubberwood. The product looked great. For those of you wondering, it uses a #8 screw (#10 is too big) and the dowel holes are 3/8" instead of 1/2". Everything about the product appeared to be in good condition. I'm happy.

Unfortunately I had already painted 2 of them when I realized that they don't quite match. One was a little thinner, and where the squiggle part rises from the bottom, the spacing is different on each. Luckily it was for my laundry where no one but me would notice.

They are very strong but look at the metal brace holding the screws in the wall - one went down well but the second was the screw head was missing and looked like undersized screws were used to attach to the wood - must not have passed quality control, not worth returning - glue is used to attach as well as screws - wanted to complete the project

I like their polished finish and they are well made. I also like the drilled recessed holes that allow for a splinter free installation. I painted them in 5 minutes and now they fit my home decor. They are currently attached to a plank of wood that weighs about 40 pounds. I would buy again in the future. The only thing I would like them to provide is the actual dimensions of the center screw holes. They give full part, no holes.

Excellent mounts. I used them to support a 12 inch countertop overhang in a kitchen remodel. They were painted white, although they could also be painted. Overall they were great, although one of them wasn't firmly fixed at the top and dangled a bit. I fixed it better myself, but it should have been direct from the manufacturer. Easy to use, smooth, strong enough. Looks great painted in gloss black with black wooden buttons. Daughter is happy with her bookshelf/shelves. Please note that they have not been prepared in any way. She took them out of the box and painted them with glossy black spray paint. I gave them an A because they turned out so well. It WAS a little tricky to hang and it took some work to figure out how to attach it to the shelves. These tabs are designed to slide down a dual set of pan head screws (small) which are NOT supplied by the manufacturer. For unknown reasons, there is an open edge at the top of each edge.
