Better buy half bent.

It's nice to have everything in one piece but half the allen keys were bent and I ordered three separate all had bent allen keys so to me that's evidence of crappy manufacture. I buy American and give these crappy ones

Worked great. in hexagon

I needed the largest size 8mm for bike repair. Worked great. One was for the handlebar clamp bolt, the other was for the hex bolt footrest. Worked great for both. Folds up and stores in my tool box. I can not say more.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • there are nuances

Great tool for the DIY enthusiast

A simple reliable tool. The wrenches are long enough to reach every part of the bike, and the folding mechanism is rigid in a good way - you can keep every angle of grip for those hard-to-reach bolts. All measurements seem to be correct and I haven't noticed any rounded corners or other signs of wear so far.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some little things

Made in the USA, durable and easy to use

I like the Eklind metric allen wrench set for its quality and steel construction. This durable and compact tool is ideal for owners of foreign-made bicycles and motorcycles, as well as those who need a handy fastener servicing tool with a metric allen wrench. This tool is made in the USA and meets or exceeds ANSI and Federal strength standards.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not trendy

Not recommended; bike specific

This hex set is greasy, SMELLS HORRIBLE, VERY HEAVY and for some reason very stiff. Not a simple one-handed tool. smells strongly of chemicals, so I have to wash my hands thoroughly with detergent after use. Regular hand soap, you still smell the grease on your hands so you might have to wash twice, that's so bad. It also weighs down my backpack.

Good value for money.

It was handy to have at home and in the car. We have two of them (one for the stuff and one for the glove box). You need hex screwdrivers for everything (kids bikes, kitchen stool wrenches, plumbing, etc.) and they're easy to grab rather than separate sets. I'm going to buy another one for my tool box so I always have it with me. It's clearly not a luxury item, but it's reasonably well made and has held up really well over 15 jobs.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Hard to say

Perfect for light motorcycle maintenance

If you're like me you lose all your allen wrench sets and end up digging through your toolbox for a 6mm hex for 5 minutes when you're working on something. This little tool has increased my productivity tenfold, it has changed my life. Now I have time again to have dinner with my family instead of looking for allen wrenches. It's so cool even thieves want it, I had to buy another one just because some random guy saw it and just couldn't help but steal it from my toolbox. Seriously, it's…

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • good but not great

Sharp, uneven edges. Possible bolt damage. Better options available

Hex key ends roughly trimmed with sharp, serrated edges. Since I had intended this tool for servicing a bike with frequent assembly, this became a hurdle for me. I don't need to damage the screws. Another small issue was that the size markings applied to the sides are hard to read (factory worn stamping tool?). Bought a set of Tekton allen keys around the same time for about the same price. The Tekton set is made from the same chrome vanadium steel, but the Tekton set has well finished ends and

It works, but probably better for a shop than at home.

This is a solid metal product, probably 1950's style. Unscrew the bolts and it's covered in oil, which I think prevents rusting. Ideal for the workshop or shop, but less for less greasy applications. Each piece rubs against another, raw metal against metal, making it harder to open than other tools I have. I hope it doesn't rust on me because I don't coat my screwdrivers etc with oil, I expect them to be coated to prevent this. The color and design is also different from the picture, which…

Inexpensive off-line metric hex wrench set.

I bought these to work with the guitar, specifically the Floyd Rose Tremelo. I only use the 4 smallest sizes so keep that in mind when comparing my experience to what you might expect. keys are fixed You can loosen the bolt/nut combination to make this easier. Ironically, a bolt (or is it a screw?) requires an allen wrench to turn. In order to loosen the screw, I need an Allen key, which I first have to disassemble in order to be able to use it at all. :) Of course, the pliers on the nut also…
