I got this for my Octoprint 3D printer. No special drivers, for me it was just plug and play and works great. stunning screen and touch accuracy.

Good quality screen, I like the built-in speakers and volume control. The brightness control is also practical, since the Raspberry PI does not have its own way of controlling the brightness. I use it for RetroPie. My only complaint is that there is no headphone jack. So if you connect audio from the headphone jack to the screen, you can no longer connect headphones.

I've tried this display with Moode Audio, Volumio, and Vanilla Raspbian. With Moode and Volumio, the touch function did not work at all. Moode and Volumio support the official 7" DSI display. With Raspbian it worked intermittently. Reconnecting the DSI cable restored sensory function about a third of the time. It's pretty easy to set up and worked right away. The display is small but readable, and the touchscreen is sharp and clear. If I had two complaints, it would be inconvenient SD card access and weak speakers. You'll need to disconnect the display ribbon cable and use pliers to access the SD card (while it's installed). I had an issue that didn't turn out to be their problem (my RPi 4B was locked out of the box) but they still responded to emails very quickly (less than 12 hours). Got a new Pi and everything worked great.
