Exact replacement, works like a breeze.

When we bought this house the exhaust fans in the bathroom were already noisy and slow but we tried to extend their life with grease etc. However, the one in the main bathroom eventually malfunctioned and stopped working. just moan while turning lazily every 10-30 seconds. I put the repair on hold because I thought I would have to replace the entire fan/light/heater assembly and I didn't find many available that would fit the existing hole and I wasn't looking forward to messing with cutting/…

This is a really versatile fan - flexible configuration

I've bought it twice, for two different homes, and continue to get high reviews. The final setting is below. 1) After initial great success, I repurchased this fan to replace a 30 year old Broan fan with a different mounting system than this stock fan. As another poster shared, the mounting screws on this fan are WRONG, which I did in reverse to install the fan in a configuration similar to the existing fan, with the motor now being ceiling mounted as opposed to the standard configuration for…

Great replacement for a very old fan motor

I have a 40 year old house with 40 year old bathroom fans. One of these was called the "Air-o-matic" with the model number 605. Over the years it got terribly scratchy and noisy to the point where it was a little scary because I didn't understand what that could be . make the noises he made. This fan motor is obviously no longer made and the fan assembly/case itself is completely different from any modern ones I've seen.
