I used it to prepare dry instant noodles, stews, etc. It is very convenient, easy to use and cooks quickly. The hot pot is good enough for 1-2 people. I had to be in LA for 10 days during the pandemic so I bought this pot to heat up food. All my meals had to go so this device was widely used and worked great. However, to warm up the food, I put the egg cooker in, added some water, and put the food on the egg cooker. The steam warmed up my food well. 2nd update (12/18/19) Okay I finally did vinegar for 15 minutes then rinsed and washed with soap - it worked! The spots are gone. I have changed my rating to 5 stars.
