Reading too many reviews on all of this and it helped me make a good choice! That's one thing I love about Revain, it lets you read reviews and make choices, and they not only look good, they're well built inside and out! My husband has been asking for years. Worked great! At first only one worked which worried me until I used new batteries and now both are fine. But that's a good sentence. I use a lot of salt and pepper and it takes a lot of effort to spin the damn manual coffee grinders. They are big but I still wish they had more pepper and salt. I've never owned an electric coffee grinder. However, I always had salt and pepper grinders that had to be ground manually. I wasn't expecting to like the electric ones, thinking it would spoil the atmosphere when using the manual ones. But that's not the case! I love it! I gave 2 stars because the stainless steel body is very well made. They are marked with installation marks for the battery compartment and the condiment container. However, both grind settings are incorrect. You couldn't do it right. The plastic adjustment knob on one of them rotates but doesn't open the sharpening mechanism. Wow! This is such a great set ;). I've never had a battery powered salt and pepper grinder so this one is pretty handy. I've already poured my pepper and am waiting for coarse Himalayan salt. Just a note. They don't come filled ;). Each coffee grinder requires 4 AA batteries, so make sure you have them on hand. I bought this set on a whim because I wanted to replace the cheap shakers on my dining table and replace them with something more elegant. I am in love with this set. UPDATE: These coffee grinders stopped working after a few months. Changed batteries, doesn't work (I have a tester and the batteries were fully charged). Tried to align the contacts to no avail. You can bang them on the counter and they sometimes work for a while, but these grinders aren't that great. Right now I'm using ground salt and pepper. Very disappointed. I have arthritis in my hands and need new grinders. The Gourmet Elements brand won't be there ORIGINAL POST before these grinders go:

I love using Himalayan pink sea salt and rainbow pepper, so a good grinder is a must. They definitely grind faster than other battery powered coffee grinders I've bought in the past, but maybe that's because I've bought much cheaper ones. You get what you pay for I guess.
