to manage Wi-Fi stats

Newly purchased relay to install new Nest Tstat. Removed the old fixed 240VAC stat and installed a relay in the box on the back; had to shorten the tabs to fit. The relay worked great, is 24VAC with common wire and switch foot. recommend

Attention: Dangerous design!

I loved the price but there are a few things I wouldn't buy again. First a small note: the thermostat wires are guaranteed to be too short for your application and you will need to extend them with wire nuts, crimps, etc. The Aube product has screw terminals that make this step much easier. Second, after taking the unit apart (to see if I could more easily extend the thermostat wires) I saw that several wires were pinched between the two sides of the clamshell. This is a fairly serious problem…
