I bought this part and installed it. The customer had a car for 5 days and the pump failed. I wouldn't buy that crap! I had to get the customer's car, pay for towing and another gas pump. The whole thing cost me €500. Buy if you want. If you like junk or bad luck.

This fuel pump is not compatible with 2003 Pontiac Grand Am as detailed on the product page. The fuel filter connector is leaking and the connector latch is old and unreliable. Of course I had to buy the original. Lost Time and $$. This is BS.

The pump was easy to install, just like the factory pump except a different improved connector had to be plugged in. I had no trouble installing it. I strongly recommend everyone to drain as much fuel as possible before attempting to throw the tank out of the car.

If the fuel pump fails it will stop. You can spend big bucks at your local auto store or get some extra nail polish for a small price. Given the hassle of draining and digging into the tank, this is the way to go. Primed and started sir like new.

Replaces our 3.1L V6 Chevy Malibu. All we had to do to get it working for our application was (1) replace the old pump's sensor and (2) rewire the pump from the old square 4-pin to the new flat 4-pin. After reinstalling, the car started and runs better than ever!
