Electrolux 242058232 User Interface Review

Replaced a broken control panel at Frigidaire with no problems. As it was a factory spare it made installation much easier.

Part of the first order arrived with a broken electrostatic seal of the bag and fingerprints on the plastic display. Returned The seal on the second electrostatic bag receipt is broken but there are no fingerprints. The part is installed, the selection "cube" does not work. returned

These LCD panels often fail and are not covered under warranty. Many have replaced the panel only to have it fail again after 1 year so this is clearly a design flaw. Installed easily and works perfectly. But it was received with a broken seal on the anti-static bag and the bag was torn open. I thought about sending it back immediately but decided to try first instead. I think the problem is that people don't look up the right part number for their fridge and buy it based on a picture.
