Good value for fish and aquatic animals

I use this for my 10 gallon aquarium. Sometimes needs to be adjusted after changing the water, generally buy well. I recommend.

Great Value Heater

I would recommend this heater/thermostat to anyone who needs an inexpensive heater and thermostat for their aquarium. We have been using this product for over a year now and it has proven to be a reliable tool for maintaining your chosen temperature.

Run, don't walk away from this product!

Sorry I read the reviews AFTER I bought this item. It broke within 5 hours when used. I also agree with other users that you need to keep the water level up for it to even register the temperature. So it's not worth it even if it costs less than $1.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Can't remember

Inexpensive heater for an aquarium

The price is excellent, it works perfectly. My only concern is that the mounting fixture requires it, therefore it sits over the edge of the aquarium and makes it impossible to keep the water level at the required fill line on the heater. Still keeps the tank at a nice 79 degrees but wish it could be lowered even lower in the tank.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are nuances

If you are unfamiliar with these types of heaters, it will be difficult to get the temperature you want, but once you get it, it works great. I have this heater in my 10 gallon fry tank and this 75 watt heater works great. This is about 15 degrees above room temperature and is stable. Ultimately, I still like these types of heaters more than submersibles, but they're just more…

I do not understand? Best in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Why are there so many negative reviews about this heater? Thank goodness it's an old-fashioned aquarium heater with a knob on top that mounts with its head on the water's surface. Yes hello the residue should be in the water it heats. It works, without all the fluff and pointless annoying new crap Gee! Can't wait to electrocute you with a lamp cord going into the water, newer pre-voiced shit. Yes, you should keep the water level in the aquarium up, but what hobbyist would allow the water to…
