I used to use this type of lamp for my projector. I bought it probably 3 times in 6-7 years. The lamp usually comes with installation instructions and a small screwdriver/tool. This supplier chose to include only the lamp. I had to go online to download the instructions. It's okay, but people need to know. The lamp works perfectly, so no problem. It was downgraded to four stars for lack of instructions.

The lamp lasted less than 225 hours when the image faded. When the program had a night scene, you couldn't see it because it was very dark. We sent the lamp back on March 6th at 17:13. The lamp arrived there on March 9th. So far we have not received an answer as to whether a new lamp will be sent or whether there will be a refund. In order to fit this lamp into my Epson Powerlight Home Cinema 400 projector I had to cut off a 1/8 inch plastic protrusion that was preventing it from fitting properly. Not easy to diagnose, not too hard to fix, but I wasted a lot of time. The lamp is as bright as the original lamp and I've had it running for two months now with no problems so it seems good value for money. Update: I've been out with this lamp for about 9 months, averaging a couple of hours a night.

I was concerned that the cost of replacing the lamp on my old Epson would not be financially viable and would force me to buy a new projector. But this product was cheap, shipped quickly, easy to install and seems to work great. No claims; I would buy again.
