A solid foundation for developing web apps

I like how easy it is to get going with Ember, without having to learn all of its quirks first. The documentation could be better, but it's getting there! It was so much easier than learning Angular or React. I didn't have any problems figuring out what I needed from the docs. In fact, they were a bit sparse at times, which made me want to go digging deeper into the source code and figure things out myself. This helped immensely as I'm not very experienced in front-end development. Getting up…

Pros
  • Easy for newcomers
  • No need knowledge about complex frameworks suchas webpack etc.
  • Everything you can do inside browser using only JavaScript language (also works offline)
  • Compatible even if javascript engine supports old versionsEtc.etc
Cons
  • Documentation should improve
  • Some parts look outdated

Excellent framework for building dynamic web applications

Easy to use, support is amazing with quick answers when you have any questions about how something works or what it does! Very easy to build out your app quickly without having too much code written by hand at first sight (as in other frameworks). Some of our features took us longer than expected so we could not get new users as fast as needed but that's just because they are used only from time-to-time apps where performance isn't very important until now :) I don’t think there can be anything

Pros
  • Simple way for building large scale web applications.
  • Excellent documentation available both here & github,
  • Extremely good community

Awesome tool for building modern web applications

It is easy to learn, it's fast (both in development time as well performance), has great support from community with lots of tutorials available online which are very helpful when you get stuck or have some doubts about how things work under hoods etc., I would say that sometimes there can be issues if your app grows too big but this depends mostly upon what kind/size project do we deal here at my workplace so far haven't faced such an issue yet! But overall its pretty good stuff :) We use…

Pros
  • Easy learning curve;
  • Great documentation wide ecosystem for help ; )
Cons
  • Performance may vary according hardware configuration / server resources

Best frontend framework for serverless apps

Ember is one of my favorite javascript frameworks, I really like how it's easy to get up-to-speed with even if you have little JS experience (as a PHP dev). The architecture makes sense as well so that when we build new features or rewrite some old ones I can easily update all our sites without issue. It doesn't support IE8/9 which would be nice in this day and age but other than that no downsides yet! I'm learning more about writing tests using Jest instead of Mocha because their testing setup

Pros
  • Ember is a great framework to work with, easy to learn and has great documentation
Cons
  • It is still lacking support for older browsers and doesn't have a native mobile app for all platforms
