I find that the amount of embroidery thread that comes with it is too small for the price I paid. I know things like needles, beading needles, etc. are in the pack, but I don't like the amount of thread that is dispensed. However, there are many colors of floss, and that's okay. I would like more floss of each :( My project messed up :((((

I've just started cross stitching so this makes a great starter kit for those just starting out. I'm new, as I said, but considering the price, the thread seems quite acceptable to me. I've definitely had worse in the short time I've been doing cross stitches. I was a little upset that there was no red or white. There were many shades of pink but no red. So I had to buy red and white separately. No big deal, just a bummer.

This is my first embroidery kit I have ever bought and so far I love it. The thread is smooth and does not tangle like loose strands, but is also easy to separate into individual layers of thread. There is a very wide range of colors but I feel like there are more skin tones. I would recommend getting a separate pair of thread scissors and maybe a couple of those scissors that fit your fingertips just right.

It's true what they say, you get what you pay for. While this is a good range of items, the overall quality (or lack thereof) really brings this product closer to something that I would not give as a gift or even redeem for my own use. Not sure if the stock is out of date or what, but the threads are incredibly difficult to separate and generally difficult to edit. All the accessories are also of the lowest quality. I think it will work for a beginner, but even then do you really want to start…
