I bought this set as a starter kit for embroidery and while it's great that it has absolutely everything I could possibly need to get started the quality is a stand alone Item not included is the equipment. The scissors won't cut the floss, the ripper won't rip the seams, the frame is poor quality and doesn't fit snugly to the fabric, some needles are bent. The best thing about the kit is the fantastic color scheme, but I was disappointed when trying to embroider with it.

When I saw the starter kit, I read Beginners. All the equipment is there, but what should I do with it. No action examples, no drawings on extremely rough fabric, no instructions on how to make different stitches. What should I do with this material? On a note it is written that in this set, and some very brief information, zero help for a beginner. When you say "starter kit" it implies a beginner as nobody who embroiders needs to buy this kit. As far as I know it has everything you need for embroidery, including wax, which I didn't notice in the product description, although I might as well not have noticed.
