Everything was easy to use, the instructions were clear (I still had to watch YouTube videos as I'm more of a visual person and still over the top) and the quality of everything seemed pretty good! Overall a great purchase. It's worth the price for the three patterns/instructions/strings that you get. Everything is very easy to follow and suitable for all skill levels. It's worth noting that it only comes with *one* plastic hoop and I ran out of white threads for the winter scene - the first time I've even almost run out. I just started embroidery and this set is perfect for me. I started with greens which were great for learning a lot of new stitches. In addition, it was a rather simple, but very beautiful design. I didn't follow the pictures on the back, I turned to YouTube, which was much easier. The cactus was my second project, this one was more complex and time consuming but doable. I ran out of yellow-green thread that was used as a patch on one cactus and also decorated another cactus. Luckily I bought a
