Disappointed - not as good as before

We have had the plus size for years and it has been the best dog door (hence the 3 stars). He kept our cats inside and let the dogs out. Bought an XL for another door and had problems with it from the start. Initially the doors stayed "open" most of the time and the magnets seemed weak for the size of the doors. Emailed the company, got new magnets and added them which didn't fix the problem, then two new doors. I installed them but it still does occasionally and lets our cat escape so we…

GREAT product! I've opened boxes at local pet stores before. there is no comparison. I will certainly say the cost is more than I would like to pay but I will not say the cost is high compared to what you can find at your local pet store. As others have pointed out, you will end up with a paper cut that is too large. over an inch. The best pet door on the market!

In my opinion this is the best non-electronic, non-motorized pet door you can buy! It's not at all like the rest of them out there. First, the frame is made of thick aluminum with a beautiful white finish. The frame is quite heavy, very strong and well made. The two doors (I have a double door) are made of a pliable material that won't pinch your pet if they decide to back away once they start walking out the door (as can happen with hard swing doors) . Dogs fit, cats don't

We have big dogs that live with cats. We don't want cats outside. How will you achieve this? I have put up with complex electronic solutions that would require our dogs to wear collars. We would also need to service the batteries in the collars and the electronic door system. And they are not reliable if you read the reviews.
