🚗 Chevy Rear Leaf Spring Set - Energy Suspension 3.2141G Review

Fits exactly as requested and delivery from Revain was fast as usual. I have a 2004 Chevrolet C3500 cab and chassis with a pack of 9 sheets. You installed flawlessly.

Installation was easy, I did it with a leaf spring and a bed on a truck. Unfortunately I had to buy the whole set although I only needed the upper leaf spring bushings because the new calipers I bought came with the lower ones. My only complaint is not enough grease for the 6 bushings.

Judging by the picture I had the impression that I ordered red sockets. I got a bit let down by the mechanic who pressed out my old bushings and said I'm better off with bearings if I want to silence the noise I originally bought these bushings from a year and a half the creaking is back and worse as previously.

I recently replaced the leaf spring calipers on my truck. First I bought old bushings. When I saw that I couldn't fit these bushings on a truck due to the narrowness of the fender (I wanted to use a C-clamp), I searched the internet for an alternative. (After watching a YouTube video) I discovered this. They come complete with front leaf spring bushings, rear leaf spring bushings and bottom bracket bushings. I only needed the rear leaf spring bushings as I didn't remove the entire leaf spring…

I fitted these bushings to my truck a month ago. Installation on my 06 Silverado is annoying. The bolts on the old bushings had to be cut off as they were too long to pull out. Why GM puts a 4 1/2" bolt with only 1" clearance on the side of the head so you can't remove it is beyond me. I replaced the old bolts on my truck with (2) 5/8" and (4) 9/16" grade 8 yellow zinc plated bolts and matching nylon nuts. This job took me and my partner almost 8 hours.
