Description of πŸš€ Enhance Vehicle Performance with Energy Suspension 9.8101G Shock Tower Grommets

Durability is superior for cars, trucks and SUVs; road salt, oil, and a host of other common under car contaminants will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles, not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically compress rubber. Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently. Hyper-Flex is offered in a variety of durometers (firmness or softness), depending on product application; performance tested and race proven; used for all of Energy Suspension products that require a higher level of performance and durability. If you are modifying, building a new vehicle for scratch or restoring an old one, Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane should be the 'ground zero' focus of your present and next vehicle plans. Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries, Energy Suspension has qualified as premier manufacturer of the high quality polyurethane products. 7/8 Inch Nipples; 3/8 Inch I.D.; 1 1/4 Inch O.D.; 5/8 Inch Thick; 4 Grommets Per Set. In the Box includes 4 - Bump Stops / Grommets.

Fits 97-03 F-150 rear shocks

Motorcraft shocks come without bushings. I bought them for €5 and they fit perfectly. Used on 2002 Ford F-150 Supercrew 4x4 rear shock absorbers.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some small things

Fits Terra Flex 9550

Fits my '99 Jeep Wrangler with 3" Terra Flex lift kit, 9550 shocks. I installed them a few months ago and haven't noticed any squeaks.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Minor

Trigger Replacement

This was a good replacement, it is smaller in diameter and slightly less thick as you can see in the picture. I have ridden the Rough Country N95 shock and had no trouble installing it.

Pros
  • The best in the niche
Cons
  • Little things

Not for 2000 Ford Ranger

I used these to replace a worn shock absorber bushing on my Ford Ranger and as others have noted this product is much smaller than the original part. Thought I'd try anyway, but no luck. I tried two on my truck (they come in packs of three) and both were crushed after a few days of normal driving. It might be fine for a small car, but they certainly won't work for a small pickup truck.

Pros
  • cool product

  • negative gift

Wrong size for Bilstein 5100.

Revane "buy them together" misled me into thinking they would fit Bilstein 5100 shocks. A more appropriate part number listed on the Energy Suspension Parts website is 9.8145. 9.8145 have an inside diameter of 9/16 inch (14.3 mm). The shock absorbers have an outer diameter of 17 mm. 9.8101 have an inside diameter of 3/8 inch (9.525 mm) and will not fit. Please investigate. 5 stars for the quality of the energy suspension parts.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost never

Great socket! for shock bushings

I mounted them on a set of Bilstein 5100 struts for my 2000 Tacoma. I also used a set of leaf spring bushings from Energy Suspension which were great too. These jacks are pretty strong. The inside diameter wasn't big enough for my application, so I clamped it in a vise and used a 1/2 dill drill to drill out. Brilliant! I was impressed by how strong/durable/tough this material actually is. I think this will work well for a long time!

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • unreliable

Doesn't work in my app but great quality.

I give these 3 stars because they are very good quality but don't sound very good. I used them for my 2 garage door opener motors. They make a minimal difference in noise when you open the door and are in the house above them. So they didn't really work for my app idea. But in another application they can work well. For this reason and for the excellent quality I award 3 stars.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some problems

Saved me from rotting Bilstein rubber junk.

Poly is the way to go! I really appreciate that this company found a solution to my rotten Bilstein shocks. WARNING! not covered by the warranty. How Bilstein sells rubber shock absorbers instead of polyethylene with a lifetime guarantee; that's an uncomfortable truth; rubber rots. Read their warranty, send a shock to check the warranty at your expense. F-ME. tired of corporate america and their BS. Bilstein fooled me with their marketing and stuff.

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Volume
