This product fits the 2011 BMW X3 28i exactly. You should be aware that it is not easy to replace and should know what you are doing before attempting to replace it.

Garbage. Doesn't fit the engine properly and causes more intake leaks than you started. It's a shame I waited so long to install and now I've passed the return window.

Received the part, fitted, next day engine fault codes, went to the body shop, the shop diagnosed a (BENT) valve cover fault. Paid to a shop to fix it with good quality parts ended up paying over $800

Bought this to replace the original when the CCV failed. It arrived warped and did not sit flush with the cylinder head, causing it to tear when tightened. The replacement came and was slightly better but the holes didn't match. Slowly twisted alternately to secure a little. A week later it cracked and oil leaked out. HUGE waste of time and money.

Pros: Fits well. I had to use a pry bar to align some of the screws. As someone said the thread is coarse and 8.6Nm doesn't even screw in. I tightened them with a 1/4" ratchet. After it was installed by my professional mechanic, the check engine light came on. He showed the vacuum leak code. The good news is that it's the same dimensions as a standard rocker cover and is barely visible when installed. I assume the built in oil cap is different. The bad part is that the gasket is a little loose on the valve cover, making it difficult to align once installed. The bead of a good gasket maker held it in place.
