As other reviewers have noted, the teeth are not sharp, they are cut at an angle. This makes pushing a fresh bun more difficult as the bun tends to roll in front of the prongs. I knew this was happening and planned to sharpen the tines. I didn't want the teeth to be very sharp as they ask to be poked.
