This topper is very comfortable. It raised the profile of my bed up quite a bit, but it is not cooling. I haven't felt any of the cooling sensation that I bought it for.

It's an awesome mattress. The thickness is 3 inch and its soft enough for the topper. It's not too soft that you feel the layer below the topper. Best thing its doesn't smell.
