I bought this pump to pump water between 55 gallon drums. It worked fine and without any problems. I haven't seen the 3 gpm they claim. I drained two 55 gallon water barrels. It took about 40 minutes to empty each one. this is a speed of about 1.5 gallons per minute.

I can tell the wires will come loose. Check it out for yourself. The last thing I need is an open wire in a flammable liquid. I pasted the shrink wrap, will not help. I bought two High-Q pumps and both were stolen. I will not trade stolen pumps for an appeal.

* This 12 volt pump does NOT have ENOUGH POWER to prime the RV antifreeze into the main water of my 24ft RV system for the winter.* Changing the height of the anti-freeze jugs above ground to match the level of the water system made no difference.* Opening all the faucets to relieve pressure made no difference.* I think the pump WILL WORK if You only need to pump water from a container with liquids in the container at the same level.

I used it to remove water from the aquarium and in just two months it stopped working. Worst of all, after the engine died, black clouds of toxic chemicals started pouring into my tank from the engine. A fish that's always wanted to come see what I'm doing in its house swam through a cloud of garbage coming out of this pump. Was dead in less than two days along with some corals. 50% water changed and filters changed. The filter closest to the pump smelled like burnt wires and plastic.

This is just what I needed to fill the water ballast bags in my wings. The manufacturer has strict pressure limits due to the damage that can occur if exceeded. This pump delivers just the right amount of pressure (5'9" head). The flow rate is about 3 gallons per minute with very little lift and it takes me about 3 1/2 minutes per wing (10 gallons). It does it all the time .once in. I bought a second one as a spare I was so pleased.The construction is solid.My only issue was that it is so light

I use this pump to pump water out of a bucket that I use to collect R/O (brine) effluent so I can use that water to water my garden. With a 12V output from my battery it draws about 13W (just over 1A) and pumps water much faster than traditional battery powered pumps. The pump is quite suitable for this specific purpose. However, I have a few complaints about this particular item: 1. The outlet tube size was not documented and the hose was not included. The correct pipe size for this is 1/2" ID
