I used the adhesive to stick it to the wall in my kitchen, all good there. Tried to put knives on it and most of them fell right away. The magnet is super weak and can’t hold any decent knives. It barely held my cheese knife, no joke. If you have cheap knives with super lightweight handles you might be ok, but if you use real chefs knives, this is a major no go. I’ve had these magnetic knife holders for most of my kitchens. I love this one as it’s a bit wider than most and the knives don’t move! Very good price for a quality product. Also love the 3m sticky thing on the back. Can use in workshop too for tools!

This product is great until you have to remove it. We had it up for two and a half years in the kitchen of our rental apartment and it held up great. The problem is that its extremely adhesive.like too adhesive that its impossible to remove. It took me 45 mins of trying to wedge a blade in between the block and the tile (I broke one of the knives I used in the process). what I originally liked about this product was the fact that it came with the double-sided sticky tape so I would not have to put holes in my wall. Well, it was a good thing it came that way because looking at the back I noticed that the magnet inside partially covered the slots to use nails to hang it up. I put it up following the instructions for the tape exactly and even waited 2 days before adding any knives to it. It held well for over 3 months and fell off the wall one night scaring me to

I was disappointed with how this piece looked as soon as I pulled it out of the box. The front of the magnet looked scuffed up. I also wanted to use the anchor and screws to hang it but the anchors provided were too smooth and would spin when I tried to insert the screw. This meant I had to drill new holes in the wall to install anchors of my own. Once I used better anchors, it hangs nicely.

I'm not sure what took me so long to get one of these. Much better then some wooden knife block which who knows how dirty those knife slots get. Mounting was easy and this is a heavy item. Nice and thick and nothing cheap about it. You have the option to use screw mounts but I just stuck it on my wall. Nicer clean look then a big ol knife block on my counter top. Think I'll get another shorter one for other metal items. Recommend.

Here's my review of this trash, it didn't even last a day. I waited 48 HOURS before putting knives on this and it's not even many. The knife block won't stick to the adhesive. Seriously how did they not put a material on the back of the knife block that would actually stick to the adhesive.?OH AND HAVE FUN TRYING TO GET THE STUPID ADHESIVE OFF YOUR WALL AFTER THE KNIFE MAGNET FALLS OFF. UNBELIEVABLE, this is the most infuriating thing I have purchased.

The only thing I want to say is be a little careful with knives that have a protective type painting or sealer on them. I had to use a different set of knives because of their inability to stick to magnets. Just be sure they are metal or able to adhere to magnets. All good now and the actual magnet looks great. I had to also use a better adhesion for our backsplash type.

I dropped the stars down because they placed ugly lettering right there on the front so if a knife isn’t covering it it is quite unsightly and annoying

I only bought this one because the answered questions claimed that it was magnetic on both sides, which wasn't true. I tried the adhesive strip that came with it and it failed in under a week. Threw it out and bought one that was actually magnetic on both sides.

Be very sure you know exactly where you are placing these. The adhesive is strong. I’ve had two up for several weeks, and they are perfect.

The holder is very heavy. Was surprised that its just adhesive only and doesn’t use screws. But its holding up so far as of June 2022. Just hope it doesn’t fail and fall to the ground and damage our cutco knives or end up having someone standing beside getting hurt it if it falls.

Stuck this on the wall, waited 24 hours, put the knives on it, 2 hours later the whole thing came crashing down. Could potentially rust over time with exposure to water and moisture.

I had one somewhat like this in my home but now needed one in my motor home. Adhesion strong and the magnet holds all my knives going down the road. Really stays put! I love the size of this one also. Great price!

I followed all the instructions for application of the product to my wall. It didn't stick. My knives fell to the floor after a while. I'm just happy no pets were underneath them when they came tumbling down. Very disappointed with this product. I would not recommend.
