The grips are great, but don't like the end cap design

My old grips were falling apart. I followed the instructions and used soap and water to help install the new grips. Even with the soap and water, it still took a lot of grip strength to install them. Once installed, they worked great. They are really comfortable; it makes biking much more comfortable having new grips.My one complaint is the design of the end caps. I specifically ordered the gray variety because I wanted to get a non-descript cap for the end. Instead the cap has the same design…

Old school, comfy grips

I'm so used to lock on grips that it was a flashback to put these on a bike. I used hairspray in the approved old skool style, and they went on easily. They're a nice comfy middle ground, not super slim but also not huge oury-type grips. The end caps are plastic with a thin aluminium cap glued on. They might be a little more durable than plain plastic, but definitely not as damage resistant as all-metal end caps. For the price they are fine, but don't expect anything too deluxe.My one beef with

Nice Grips best in my review

My kid got a used bike for $20, bought these to replace the stock grips. Quick delivery and nice textured grip. The tabs for the end caps are plastic and broke upon installation, other than that. Recommend.

nice end caps for my opinion

The rubber grips were hard to install but my husband says the end caps alone are worth it; Looks great on his ReAspire mountain e-bike.
