Everything went well!: Protein

The surgery went well. No problems with digestion and blood sugar. My medical organization's nutritionist felt this was good pre- and post-treatment preparation. Extra calories and vitamins to support healing. Maintaining a routine has helped me. The taste was ok.

Don't drink after the night or your veins will move if an IV is needed before surgery.

Consult your surgeon before purchasing. The 3rd carbohydrate drink 1-2 hours before surgery is not recommended as your doctor says not to eat anything after midnight. This carbohydrate gets your veins moving, making it difficult for your nurse or anesthetist to puncture the vein. My left arm was bruised after 3 attempts. i cried Finally, the anesthetist carefully inserted the needle into my right arm.

The clear stawberry drink tastes amazing even my 8 year old loved it. I had a total hysterectomy about 8 hours ago today and I feel fantastic. I had an ablation and scapingectomy in October and it was a horrible experience, I was in so much pain. Because I have heartburn, I had to stop eating and drinking at midnight.
