Very Happy! for my opinion

Good wax! The color is lovely! It works with a mini glue gun, make sure you have one and you’ll have no issues!Tip: if your wax seal is sticking your wax and stamp head got too hot! Pour some wax on your paper and let it sit for a few seconds before applying the stamp. Have two gel ice packs (preferably not plastic coated) to help cool the head of your stamp between envelopes. The stamp will warm up the ice pack, having the second ice pack will let you re-freeze the first while using the second

Pros
  • 2.82 ounces
Cons
  • May require additional time and effort to properly seal envelopes

Exactly What We Needed

This product is great and definitely worth the price. My husband and I decided that we wanted to do something different with our gift wrapping this year and included a wax seal. We figured being new to this craft, we would try to go the most convenient route possible and purchase the wax sticks and "melting tool" instead of the traditional wax stick with wick. After we were done we were able to get about 30 seals completed (14 presents, 5 cards, and about 11 practice seals) and still had 5…

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient packaging
Cons
  • May not be suitable for envelopes with unusual shapes or sizes

Seems to run hot - my new review

I bought several of these to use with sealing wax. My experience is that they run hot for this purpose, and you might want to try finding one with a lower heat setting for this, which might be hard. I used it with the Telosma wax sticks (which for some reason I cannot review) and had a very bad experience. I had to experiment several times for figure out how to get them to take an impression and not peel off, which was not my experience with other sealing wax. You need to squeeze out the wax…

Pros
  • 4.09 x 2.44 x 0.75 inches
Cons
  • Could cause damage to delicate or fragile paper

If I Can Do It, So Can You!

My daughter really wanted wax seals on her wedding invitations so I was determined to master them! Here are some things I wish I'd known from the beginning:1) Watch YouTube videos--they really helped!2) Leave the letter stamp in ice water while not in use. This was the key to quick and clear stamping. Just dry it off before you use it.3) One box of wax sticks sealed 107 invitations--plus all of my practice and mistakes. I had two sticks left unused.4) It cost an extra 15 cent stamp to mail each

Pros
  • Crafting
Cons
  • Wax seal could be easily tampered with or broken

Maybe not the best for continuous use

I am using this product for glue gun "wax" to seal envelopes. This glue gun works fine and heats up fast and the stand is convenient, but on the 10-12th glue stick, the glue gun began to leak in the middle of the glue gun, filling the trough and dripping down the sides. I let it cool off and tried to heat to reuse and even though I squeezed the trigger, hot glue would not come out of the end of the gun, just dripped more out of the middle of the gun. The first gun was replaced quickly, but the…

Pros
  • Adds a pop of color to envelopes
Cons
  • Could be difficult to achieve a consistent seal on thin or fragile paper

Easy to work with for my opinion

This stuff seals like hot glue. (I’m almost certain it is a form of colored hot glue). I definitely don’t think it will be cracking or smearing in the mail. Does not have a "waxy” feel. Just wish they were a little less pricey. Can only make 2-3 stamps per stick.Other amazon products in photos:* Valbox- 200 qty A7 envelopes craft (light kraft color)* Juvale- Japanese kraft paper (thin light beige/pink color)* Astrobrights- kraft paper (thin greyish beige paper)* Telosma- antique bronze sealing…

Pros
  • Me encantó el color. Un poco pequeño pero está bien
Cons
  • May be prone to smudging or rubbing off if handled too much

Know before you buy

This product performed as advertised and I enjoyed using it, but I didn’t give it 5 stars because it is more like a glue then a wax. It sealed and looked like what I wanted, but you can’t "crack” the wax as expected. It looks fantastic, but if you want that signature breaking of the wax, you need to know that this peels off more like a sticker because it’s rubbery in texture. That’s being said, it sealed just like wax and using a glue gun as a delivery method made for less mess and waste. I…

Pros
  • Nice silver color. We got 4-5 seals per stick.
Cons
  • Wax sticks can be expensive when compared to other sealing methods

Easy to Use - my new review

Each envelope took three full pumps from my standard Darice glue gun. I ordered two boxes and was able to seal 139 envelopes with plenty leftover. Very happy with the color of the Classic Antique Copper and how easy this was to use after a few test envelopes.

Pros
  • Packing: 16pcs/color box, Dimensions : 3.9 x 0.28 inch (H x D), (100mmx7.5mm)
Cons
  • May not be as professional-looking as other sealing methods

Beautiful! best in my review

We used this for bougie wax seals for our wedding save-the-dates. The color was *chefs kiss* and it melted easily, dried quickly, and wasn't super messy! And there was so much left because you really need so little so I have plenty for other crafts too!

Pros
  • Perfect for special occasions and events
Cons
  • May not be suitable for envelopes that will undergo frequent handling or transportation

Wax doesn’t harden good for me

The wax didn’t harden like normal beads do. It sticks to the press and peaks up when you lift it. Yes, I tried leaving it on their much longer to make sure it was dry- seemed to stick even worse. Will be returning.

Pros
  • Easy to use! Looked beautiful on invitations
Cons
  • May require extra postage due to the added weight of the wax

Worked great! - my new review

The wax worked great with the stamper I bought to seal my wedding invitations, if you let the wax get too hot it’s a bit tricker to work with as it sticks to the stamper. I let it sit for a few seconds and lightly blew on it before stamping

Pros
  • A great way to customize invitations
Cons
  • Poor adhesive quality

Fits right in your hot glue gun

I used these to seal our wedding invitations and they're so much easier to use than the ones you have to light! They fit right in your hot glue gun and melt so easily making it easier to out the wax right where you want it and even easier to stamp. Super quality with amazing color

Pros
  • Perfect for sealing handmade gifts
Cons
  • May not adhere properly if there is any dirt or debris on the envelope surface

PERFECT for wax seals

SO easy to use. They fit in a standard mini glue gun. When you start to see the wax boiling, unplug it and let it cool a little. You can also dip your wax stamp into a container of ice water to make it peel easier. I’m so happy with this purchase. It’s got a beautiful shimmer & melts pretty evenly. Perfect for DIY.

Pros
  • Makes sealing envelopes fun
Cons
  • The use of hot glue gun may require additional equipment or tools

Great for the price

I love the color, they fit right into my mini glue gun however after doing a few it’s almost like the glue gun is too hot and they start to bubble, even though my glue gun is low temp

Pros
  • Buy fitable glue gun, please search B075DB7VY2, you will get 20% off
Cons
  • Wax could pose a fire hazard if not used correctly

MAKE SURE TO HAVE LOW TEMP GUN! PERFECT WAX!

I love this wax. The gold wax and stamp really add a nice touch to my letters. My only problem is kinda my own problem because I don’t have a low temp mini gun so I have to hurry and make sure the gun doesn’t get too hot and shut it off before two minutes or it drips and drips and drips. It’s bad. If you have a low temp mini gun this is PERFECT! Will buy again.

Pros
  • Prepares an envelope in a few seconds
Cons
  • Wax seals may not be suitable for envelopes with fold lines or creases

Stunning addition to my wedding invitations!

We ordered 2 packs of the champagne color and were able to seal 164 envelopes with about a quarter of the second pack left over. We probably could have used a bit more wax on a few of the envelopes when we first started out but wanted to make sure we had enough and we definitely did. Pro tip: Dip your metal stamp into cold water or ice after every couple stamps - otherwise, the stamp sticks to the wax because the metal stamp gets too hot after stamping a lot. I would dip the stamp in cold…

Pros
  • Adds a touch of old-world charm
Cons
  • May require additional packaging or protection to prevent the wax seal from breaking

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty but a bit pricey

The color is beautiful. This was my first time using glue sticks and a glue gun but it was SO much easier. I was only able to get about 3 seals per stick so it’s a little pricey but the seal looks amazing g and it was so simple to use.

Pros
  • TELOSMA
Cons
  • May not be suitable for formal or important documents

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Instructions please

I wish they had more instructions I was pressing the stamp when the wax was still hot and it wasn't coming out nice until I noticed that if the wax was cooler and you can press on it and it stays better

Pros
  • Bought for a friend's. Was easy to melt amd stamp
Cons
  • Wax may crack or break during mailing

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor quality and small

Don’t let the cool packaging deceive you, these wax sticks aren’t great. The "wax” kept getting stuck to the stamp, which has never happened to me before. I had to wait forever for each seal to dry enough for it to come off the seal, but even then the wax would rip and tear. Also the sticks are short so the box doesn’t end up providing very many seals.

Pros
  • Art Glues & Pastes
Cons
  • May not be suitable for envelopes with bulky contents
