Epicurean Non Slip Cutting 14 5 Inch 11 25 Inch Review

If you have expensive knives, I recommend this cutting board. It has a low "give" which protects the knife blade. Just the right size too. Easy to clean. Love it!

Just bought a second of these after using bamboo cutting boards for the past few years. Unlike wood, it doesn't develop cracks or splits, and rubber corners prevent slipping. My last one held up well with minimal scratches.

This is by far my favorite cutting board! Now I'm the proud owner of 6 of these because they work well and are dishwasher safe. My old ones have small cuts from years of use but that doesn't make cleaning difficult and I never see anything in them after they've been washed in the dishwasher.

The cutting board is light and feels solid, but as soon as its surface comes in contact with water it gives off a very strong chemical smell. So strong that I had to air the kitchen to get rid of the smell. I have dismissed reviews from other people who have pointed this out, but believe me you don't want to smell this item after washing.

I was having a really hard time shredding my old plastic cutting board when I cut it with a new, very sharp knife. Avoiding plastic particles in food was no fun! The plastic was also quite heavily soiled by some products. The knife still leaves marks on this board, but they are minimal, the material does not come off and there are practically no stains. Also the ability to use cutting oil on the board to maintain it ensures I will be using this board for many years to come.

Epicurean continues to impress! I used to buy two kitchen utensils that lead to a chopping board and now to other chopping boards as well.
