It was difficult to find a compatible thermal printer but this device worked with no driver installation or problems, just plug and play. I had an older version of the TM-T80 thermal printer that wasn't compatible with many printers, but I'm glad I found this model. Got a new one, works very well, has been working for a few months now with no problems. I just ordered another one as a backup in case my other TM-T80 breaks again.

Power supplies are cheap Chinese fakes. Bought two printers. When I connected the printers, they both gave a low voltage error. I replaced the cheap power supplies with Epson power supplies and that fixed the problem. The seller refused to send replacement PSUs or reimburse me for new PSUs. Buy them at your own risk. If they don't work, this seller will NOT vouch for their products! I will not buy anything from this seller in the future.

The printer series TM-T88 is unbeatable. The production version is great for replacing old non-working models at our Aloha POS that need to be sent back for remanufacturing (never throw one away, they can be remanufactured for $80-$100). I know they aren't specifically mentioned, but most common printers you buy will include a USB cable in their box, so I'm not sure why this printer wouldn't.
