I sprinkled it on the corner of my blanket once to keep my dog from chewing. It took me a long time to stop coughing. It was terrible. I threw it straight in the trash. I will never expose my dog to that! This is abuse!

DO NOT spray indoors! My husband had an asthma attack and I was coughing and choking! It's like pepper spray! Apply it at home. Only spray outdoors (i.e. take a small carpet to spray on).

Works really well but the atomizer is not very good. The pump moves when I try to spray and falls into my hands. The light spray misses the target and can eventually be inhaled and cause coughing. BUT the product counteracts the chewing dog. Might be worth packing in a better spray container at home.

This spray is great at helping my dog not chew for days but because it is literally pepper spray no one and nothing can be near the spray spot for days. a few hours because I can't breathe, my eyes are watering and it's just awful. It works, but there are definitely better alternatives.

Today I lightly sprayed this product on the corner of our kitchen rug and immediately started coughing uncontrollably. Two other members who were not in the same room also started coughing. I opened the windows and ended up having to take the carpet outside. There was no strong smell, but whatever they put in this product, it should be strong. I would be afraid my dogs would get sick if they ever tried to chew anything that had this product applied to it.

This product really works. The first thing to consider is pepper spray. In hindsight, I would have preferred some sort of sponge applicator like shoe polish to a spray bottle. I usually unscrew the lid, place it on a paper towel, and wipe off anything I don't want dogs to chew on. The spray seems to spray enough of it that it makes me sneeze and also bothers dog noses. Wipe off what you want the dogs to leave alone and they will leave it alone! Power cords, baseboards, chair legs, shoelaces…

I read the reviews on this product before purchasing and saw that most of them mention a similar reaction to pepper spray. In anticipation of this, I bought a head sponge, simply poured the product onto the sponge and rubbed it around the edges of the puppy's kennel. The smoke didn't really bother me in the house either. I tried applying it (outside) with the supplied sprayer. When the wind changed direction it definitely became difficult to deal with and I sneezed and started having trouble…
