Expensive and worth it (for me)

I bought a cheaper mount first and when I removed it my boat just wouldn't run. I sent it back and ordered this device and was already convinced when unpacking it. It's not like the monitor it's holding costs a fortune or poses a serious hazard if dropped. I like to be satisfied with the outcome of any project, big or small, including all the important parts.

A great mount with a scratchy flaw.

First the good - the mount is excellent. I use it for a 38" ultra wide monitor (LG 38GN950C) and can certainly recommend it for those big and bulky monitors. The factory packaging did not have enough spring tension to hold the monitor. the manual doesn't mention how. Set up is correct, it moves as it floats and stays where you put it. Since then it has been sold as a wall mount that bolts to a wall stud with two heavy duty hex head screws. The screw heads rest in recesses molded into the mount…
