Big disappointment

Those are terrible wicks. I've been making candles for a while and they give off black smoke and turn my candle jars black. Pretty embarrassing because I'm making them as gifts and selling them.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

Burned out too quickly IMO

Bought these to make beeswax candles in spare jars I had at home. They do the job but they burn out quicker than wax so I have to melt down the wax to reuse it and make more candles. I have 100 of these so I probably won't be switching brands anytime soon, but next time I'll look for something else.

Burns clean, very light

Hi MalacJoe here with another product review: What I use it for: My wife makes candles (among other things) and it was just what she needed for wicks To know: They are long so you will need to trim them. (I know it makes sense). Just remember that you'll need to use something to hold them straight while the wax hardens. Through trial and error, we've found that clothespins work best for us. Pros: Great price Burns nice and clean Cons: You will (probably) need a hot glue gun to glue the wick to…
