Received last night. To be honest it's just normal for its price, there were 8 pieces in the set but they happened to be packed in an envelope. While some pieces are glass, they certainly arrived broken. just a little effort to go out and get them back.

This is good value for money and my bird loves it. BUT be careful with ringtones. The holes are big enough for my favorite bird's head. Zuri played with bells and stuck her head in the ring. Luckily I was at home and heard Zuri going crazy. Without her, she would definitely die.

I'm really buying this for my rats. There are 1 or 2 I don't let them play with as there are tiny parts in the bells but they LOVE them. My rats chew them up and destroy them as quickly as any other toy so I'd say they hold up well! My girls favorite toy is the bead stick with bell and all my boys like long loud chew toys hehe

I think the beads/bells would hold up better but just a few hours with our parrots resulted in the paint on the back of the mirror peeling off significantly. (and no doubt eaten by birds). I'm glad I checked them out after a few hours and caught them relatively quickly. When you receive this set, under no circumstances use a mirror or look at other things that have color.

My lovebird put her head in the jump ring. I was at home and saw her circling the cage by the neck. I quickly unhooked the toy from the cage and saw that it was stuck. I called quickly, my son came to my house and cut off the binding ring with some kind of knife. The jump ring was so tight that we couldn't open it at all. I will never buy a toy that uses these bindings again. If I wasn't home, she would have died.

Not all parts are safe! While the all-wood ones are fine, the HAZARD has parts that are entirely metal and plastic. Small bells are very dangerous. Anyone who owns a parrot knows they love to immerse themselves in everything. Those bells aren't good for that. My bird got its beak stuck in one of the bells and I had to force it out by scratching it and maybe hitting the beak a little. Save the wooden toys and throw away the metal/plastic toys.

Be extremely careful with cheap spring clips. A medium-sized bird can squeeze the clamp and then pinch it on its beak or paw - a potentially large risk of injury. Don't underestimate this topic! Someone has previously identified potential problems with "binding rings", which is also a valid concern. A larger parrot can crush and swallow plastic parts. Unlikely, but worth knowing.
