Unlike other natural deodorants I've tried, this one really kills odor and lasts all day without the need for reapplication. The scent is fairly unisex and "clean" is an apt description. There are also no irritations after shaving. For almost 3 years I've been looking for an aluminum-free deodorant that really works. I've tried EVERYTHING! I liked it for the first few weeks, but I also had no commercial deodorant buildup for several years after making my own baking soda/natural deodorants. After a couple of weeks I found that it causes a HORRIBLE underarm odor (combination of cat pee and onions) on almost every shirt, even after 3+ washes with deodorant and laundry sanitizer. I'm allergic to all deodorant. So far this is the only deodorant I can wear. My only issue is that I MUST reapply in about 3-4 hours or sooner if I've been active. Protection is definitely not for all day use. I always carry a spare stick in my purse along with napkins. When I can, I go to the bathroom, wipe and reapply, and I'm usually fine with that. I haven't noticed any stains and since it's clear you can wear dark clothes without worrying about them showing. .

Both my husband and I use this product because we don't want substances like aluminum zirconium in our deodorants. It has a nice clean unisex scent that none of us minds. I've tried many other natural deodorants that also don't contain any dangerous chemicals, but none of them worked (and they cost a lot more). I've been avoiding antiperspirants for years to avoid aluminum and other phthalates. Arm & Hammer Essentials works better than all my deodorants. My spouse and I both use it so it's great for both men and women. Personally, I don't like floral scents or anything too scented.
