This set has it all

This set is a great starter kit for using glass dip pens. Because it has three tips, it offers just the right amount of writing power for any job or variety for a job. A glass pen holder keeps your work surface clean, while a wide range of ink colors suits your needs. The handles are easy to use and work great. I love this purchase.

Easy to use in paint tools

I bought this set for my granddaughter's 10th birthday. She is very artistic. I tried them myself and wish I had them in an art class learning calligraphy as a kid. She said they were comfortable to hold. My arms are twice the size of hers and I found them comfortable too. In my day we only had black ink so this set was extra fun. I would recommend them.

Great gift set if you find it

If I click on the picture I bought, I get to completely different products from the company. I love this set but couldn't find it again to redeem as a gift. Pens write well, glossy ink is beautiful. I don't really care about corks because if you try to remove them you'll get the ink on your hands. There's no way around it. Great concept idea, but not practical.

Beautiful, useful, fragile

There were a few imperfections in the spiral of the glass pen, but they were high enough on the pen that it didn't matter when writing. The best thing I've found about glass handles is that they form a very consistent line. You need to let the ink flow back into the bottle so it doesn't smudge as you write. I will say that some inks work better with it than others. Very easy to keep clean. Save the protective cap and leave it on the pen when not in use. The pen tip is thin enough to break if…

Good Pens Bad Ink

I love that you get three glass pens, a pen holder and different colors of ink, but the ink isn't thick enough to keep the metallic shimmering bits floating more than once. Yellow is so pale that it is not worth joking with. I ordered a set for myself because I gave it to a friend and wanted to see if it was as good as it looked.
