Initial defect quickly fixed

One of the two devices was DOA but was immediately replaced by Revain. Returns are now very easy, just head to a UPS store - no box required (although this item was in one). Now you have three such devices, all of which work successfully and power surveillance cameras. They have been in use for a little over a month. As long as they work, everything is fine.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Works well for cheap non-PoE security cameras.

I've used several of these to convert some of my old non-PoE CCTV cameras to 'standard' PoE (rather than passive 12v injectors/splitters that fail due to voltage drop have some spacing issues). I don't think they're actually meant for outdoor use, but I've been using them outdoors for a while with no issues.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in white

Ideal Network Adapters

Just what I needed for some of the Amcrest 3MP WiFi Bullet cameras I have out there. Instead of constantly struggling with Wi-Fi issues (through outside walls, long distances, etc.), I've run Ethernet throughout my house, installed a POE switch, and can use these adapters to connect my non-POE cameras to POE to connect I can support them over ethernet without having to run power lines. Plug and play!

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Clarity

Does exactly what it says on the tin

Used to power a non-POE 12v camera via a POE switch. I have no problems at all with this adapter. Time will tell about the durability.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Good but not great

The 12v POE extractor works exactly as advertised

A pair of POE extractors worked great for me. The measured output voltage was 12V and perfectly powered remote devices. There is a yellow LED indicator that lights up when connected and this is useful for confirming that the connection is working.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • No instructions
