Not what I expected given the ethical quality… the product is runny and very difficult to melt, I ended up using a water bath because there are chunks everywhere. I prefer their traditional bars for the money you pay.

I like this idea so I ordered it. I would really like to use it as is. However, the perfume smell is too strong. Ethique doesn't seem to release it odorlessly, so I order odorless concentrate from another company to dilute. I will look elsewhere. I have the same problem with Ethique Shampoo, although their unscented conditioner (actually lightly scented) is very good. I wish Ethique had more unscented and organic options because I love what they do.

This soap smells great, is moisturizing and feels great to use. I also love that the packaging is biodegradable and compostable, so the end result is nothing but sending trash to landfill. My only complaint is the same as the others. It takes some time to melt and turn into liquid soap. I've found that it's easier to cut the pieces even smaller than they'll break naturally, and then add the boiling water little by little so it doesn't get cold when you try to melt it. It's very easy to make. When it cools down, it's just a bottle of liquid hand soap. Honestly, someone couldn't think of this for a long time, I did it right in a plastic bottle. First I tested the bottle with boiling water to make sure it would do the trick. Then I cut the cubes into smaller pieces with scissors (fairly easy to cut) to fit in the bottle that I planned to reuse. Excellent product! Pretty easy to mix. I like the concept and the fact that there is no plastic inside. The scent of the soap is not too strong and doesn't leave my hands dry and irritated like other hand soaps.

I couldn't be happier with it. We've been using bar soap for a long time for environmental reasons, but it always gets dirty so easily. This soap smells and feels amazing; I couldn't be happier I gave it a chance. I agree it's a little thick so if you're hoping to stretch it a little more you can probably do it.

Packaging says enough for two bottles. It does more than that! Concentrated soap is easy to make and thickens well. Like the scent. Concentrated enough to be used as a dishwashing liquid. With one purchase I managed to get 4 bottles of hand soap. Will buy again.

The best plastic-free hand soap I've ever tried! I'm discreetly hoping to keep this secret, but this stuff is amazing. Good smell, lathers well, no plastic. Much better than tablets from other brands like Blue Land and even better than Soapsy. My only wish is that you have a stable stock so I don't have to worry about finding another brand if you run out of stock again!

I'm always looking for products that produce less waste and are easy to use and I already use their shampoo and conditioner so I decided to try the hand soap. The soap didn't melt as quickly as I expected, but eventually it all melted and came together. It's very good so I think I might double the water I used and stretch it a little more. The soap is very pleasant. It leaves my hands moisturized and has a pleasant scent. I will definitely buy it again.
