Eva Solo 571160 Ice Scraper Review

We don't get much ice here, it only takes a few days to break a windscreen. It fits perfectly in the glove box and gets the job done.

Like. It's more stylish than the plastic most people wear. When folded it's so small I just leave it in the car all year round out of sight. Great design and worth the price.

I thought I was paying a premium price for a premium product. I do not mind. But despite the fact that this thing immediately looked like a premium product and was neatly tucked away in my car's center console, I assure you there's nothing premium about it other than the price. It fell apart after only two uses. Save money for something worthwhile.

It looked perfect and felt good; The blades, both rubber and metal, were smooth and efficient. However, when I first used it, the plastic collar holding the blade by the hilt broke and had to be held together to use it. The second time it broke down completely. Literally used TWO. Not well done. Avoid until you figure out how to combine the two pieces in a way that will hold up with normal use.

Like the previous one star review, this cool looking tool fell apart after about three uses. It had a great "wow" power upon opening the box, but it didn't last long. The inner black plastic collar fell apart as I scraped the snow off, leaving two pieces. I emailed EvaSolo directly via email and Yossi from customer support referred me to an Amazon refund. Unfortunately, I bought it as a gift, held it in my hands for several weeks, and then it took several weeks for it to actually pass the snow…

I love innovative new products so I bought 2 ice scrapers from Eva Solo and was willing to pay a higher price for them. Problem is, I didn't realize how SMALL they were. Of course, the end of the scraper is about the same, if not slightly larger, than the scratch size of a traditional ice scraper, but the device itself is smaller than a fist. It's great for portability, but I'm pretty sure I'd want a bigger grip if I want to clean my windshield. The design doesn't live up to practicality either
