It is so comfortable that he has slept in it more nights than not. I've washed it since purchase and it did not seem to shrink too much. Seller really needs to post size/dimension information. I am 6 feet, 200 lbs. 44" chest, 32" waist. I wear a large for most things and the fit is always good, so I ordered a large for this robe and assumed it would be close enough. This robe can wrap around me twice, so I am returning it.

What I like most about this robe is that it looks and feels as classic as I hoped it would. My generation has one foot in the past and one foot in the future, and this robe feels sentimental, reminiscent. Aside from that, it is soft and light. I could not have been happy with a thick heavy robe. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

An 2X/3X hit about mid-shin on a slim to medium man over 6'2" and the sleeves came to his wrists.Often, men's robes are knee-length with 3/4 sleeves. It is the belt loops. It really needs to have a loop in the back, not just on the sides. When I go to tie it, it is draped down under my bum.That is the reason for 2 stars on comfort.

I love this robe. Its just the right thing to chase the cold away and keep warm., i live in the UP of Michigan where its very cold so this is just the best thing to fight the cold. This is a very nice plaid robe for the price. The fit was as expected; not too small or too large. It also washed nicely in cold water with no noticeable shrinkage. I removed it from the dryer before it was totally dry and let it air dry on a hanger to prevent wrinkling. The only con is that the edge of the shawl collar on one side was not sewn properly, leaving it looking slightly different from the other but not enough for me to return it. The sizing which permit a good front closure. The beautiful colors violet/navy white. I only wish, that this flannel would be a little more thicker because this flannel is really thin. Therefore, even in South California, I will not use it in the Winter.

I had purchased this item once before and was so happy with it that I ordered a second one. It's very comfortable, warm and cozy, but not so heavy that it feels like a burden to wear it around. I purchased this robe as a gift. He likes it, so thats all that really matters. I did have to wash the robe immediately as it had a strong unpleasant chemical type of odor. The fabric maintained its softness after the wash. It's nice and long in length, I think it fits him a little big/oversized. But he's happy with the extra room. Good purchase.

We were a little concerned when reading some of the reviews but decided to order it anyhow. My elderly husband needed a lighter robe and this fit the bill exactly. It washed like a dream in cold water, dried beautifully on low heat, did require a little pressing but that's not an issue. Should we need to order a second one, this is where we'll go and yes we do recommend this robe.
